TAG Heuer Formula 1 Senna Special Edition 43mm Anthracite Chronograph Dial Bracelet Watch

The Swiss luxury watch brand introduces the new TAG Heuer Formula 1 Senna, a special edition with Senna’s original red watch colour as it continues its quest to create the perfect Formula 1 watch and pay homage to its ambassador Ayrton Senna, an admired and adored legend for motor racing, as well as to Formula 1 fans all over the world. With its bold design and its nods to Ayrton’s original watch, the TAG Heuer Formula 1 Senna Special Edition perfectly illustrates TAG Heuer’s continued admiration of the illustrious driver and celebrates his lasting influence on the sport. For this new edition, the designers of TAG Heuer – in collaboration with the Senna Foundation – incorporated red tint details on the beautiful sunray-brushed anthracite dial, referencing Ayrton Senna's original watch. The dial features black “azurage” minute, hour and permanent second chronograph counters as well as white Super LumiNova® on the rhodium-plated applied indexes and hands which ensure at-a-glance legibility at all speeds and in all lighting conditions. The timepiece also features an ultra-resistant black ceramic bezel, with the number 400 engraved as a reference to the symbolic 400 km/h speed that has never been reached in Formula 1. Highly shock-resistant, the bracelet has a folding clasp with a driver extension to fit over the sleeve of a racing suit. The TAG Heuer Formula 1 Senna Special Edition timepiece is equipped with the automatic Calibre 16, which is protected by a stainless-steel screw down caseback engraved with the Brazilian driver’s iconic helmet on the back and alongside a special engraving of “SENNA SPECIAL EDITION”.
