Since its debut in 1998, the Portugieser Chronograph has been a standout in IWC Schaffhausen's lineup, known for its sporty elegance. It features a clear layout with the minutes subdial at the 12 o'clock position and the small seconds at 6 o'clock, enhancing its iconic design and readability. The watch includes a 41mm stainless steel case, a dune-colored dial with gold-plated hands and appliques, and a distinctive multilayer lacquer finish that adds depth and gloss to its appearance. The dial undergoes a precise 60-step process, including the application of 15 layers of lacquer, fine grinding, and polishing. The subdials and appliques are intricately milled and hand-mounted, creating a pronounced three-dimensional effect. Powered by the robust IWC-manufactured 69355 caliber, this chronograph ensures reliability and precision. It comes complete with a luxurious black alligator leather strap and a stainless steel pin buckle.
