The 5K62 Solar Quartz calibre is not only environmentally friendly in not requiring battery changes, this functionality will also save you money. The watch shape is affectionately named 'Sumo' by Seiko fans because of its size and shape and the 12 o'clock marker - it's a substantially strong looking timepiece. The hour makers are covered with Lumibrite which allows the dial to be read in low light. The case of the watch is made from highly durable stainless steel with a fine ‘hairline’ brushed finish on the upper case, while the sides of the case are beautifully highly polished to a mirror finish providing an elegant and appealing finish. The case is sealed to meet 200m water resistance and is ISO 6425 ‘diver’ rated, able to pass all of the requirements of the most serious of ‘tool’ watch tests including thermal shock and corrosion resistance. The green dial produces vibrant accents to the elegantly pressed pattern design and is complimented by the green unidirectional rotating bezel with a coin edge finish. Fitted with an ultra scratch resistant sapphire crystal class with an anti-reflective coating on the inner surface the watch will retain its beauty for longer. The bracelet clasp is a solid tri-fold closure with double lock and wetsuit divers’ extender. A screw down crown and case back facilitate the long term ability to be resealed after future services.
