Discussing Style, Substance and Bridal Trends with Stylist Anne O'Shea
Anne O' Shea is an accomplished fashion stylist who has been specializing in commercial, editorial, press and test shoots for years. In this time, she has worked with some of the biggest clothing brands and publishers in the world. We were lucky enough to work with her on some of our recent bridal shoots.
Her keen eye for styling, particularly in a wedding setting, really helped make our products stand out. Here we ask her a little bit more about her bridal styling insights and her own interest in jewellery...
What Wedding Trends are you seeing a lot of lately?
Short dresses! I think they should invent a dress where you can take the end off it for the wedding reception! I’ve seen a rise in a shorter style of wedding dress in recent years, for sure. Having said that, I think the Kate Middleton style of dress will never go away, that super classic look will always be here.
What are your top tips for brides?
I don’t think wedding dresses should fall into a trend, it’s a time when everyone comes along to see the couple and it’s nice for their personality to shine through, in the ceremony but also in what they’re wearing. Unless you are getting your own dress made then the bridal shops will have adapted to the trends. I think that’s the key word, adapt to the trend, don’t copy. Those photos are forever!
Do you have an earliest jewellery memory?
My earliest jewellery memory would have to be when my uncle got me and my sister little gold band bracelets when we were little kids. We loved them back then and we both still have them so they mean a lot to us!
What jewellery item is next on your wish list?
I love wearing multiple rings on my fingers! Ring stacking is definitely my favourite jewellery trend at the moment so I'll be picking up a few more gold rings for that. Gold jewellery is definitely having a big moment!
Where can people find you and your work?
