Bremont teamed up with The University of Sheffield Advanced Manufacturing Centre to introduce the use of hard-wearing aerospace materials in manufacturing watches. For some of the models, this is the first time these aviation grade materials have been used in watch manufacturing- with this specific watch, aviation-grade custom 465 stainless steel is used. The 247 Bremont watch collection is inspired by the Boeing, twin engine Model 247 airliner from the 1930's.
