Bremont teamed up with The University of Sheffield Advanced Manufacturing Centre to introduce the use of hard-wearing aerospace materials in manufacturing watches. For some of the models, this is the first time these aviation grade materials have been used in watch manufacturing- with this specific watch, aviation-grade custom 465 stainless steel is used. The 247 Bremont watch collection is inspired by the Boeing, twin engine Model 247 airliner from the 1930's. The Model 247 was the first airliner that flew using one engine only and as such set a record trans-continental speed time by flying a staggering eight hours faster than any other aircraft. - Modified calibre 13 1/4' BE-50AE automatic chronometer- 42 hour power reserve- 43mm case - Water resistant to 100m.
