The MRG-B2000BG is a striking addition to the MR-G line, the pinnacle of the G-SHOCK brand, inspired by kurogane-iro - the deep blue-green hue of iron heated for traditional Japanese armour and helmets. This distinctive tone is captured through a deep-layer hardening process and green diamond-like carbon (DLC) coating applied to the titanium case and bracelet, the latter finished in a matching dark green DLC. The dial's perimeter is cut to evoke a Japanese folding fan or screen, while the curved indexes, shaped like Japanese swords, feature grind-mark finishing made possible by Yamagata Casio's nano-processing technology. Inside, the exclusive MR-G module boasts a gold-plated retainer plate for reduced electrical resistance, alongside radio-controlled calibration and Bluetooth smartphone pairing for precision performance.
