The dial of this Grand Seiko Evolution 9 watch is inspired by the birch forest on the Hiraniwa Plateau in Japan near to Grand Seiko studio Shizukuishi, a landscape that has long inspired its Takumi artisans. The green dial of this Evolution 9 watch is finished with the Birch Pattern, capturing the beauty of the birch forest as light filters through its leaf canopy.
The 40mm case and bracelet are crafted in Ever-Brilliant Steel – Grand Seiko’s proprietary alloy with a corrosion resistance 1.7 times higher than standard stainless steel, and a brilliantly white hue that lends the Zaratsu-polished surfaces an exceptional luminosity. The anti-reflective box sapphire crystal glass and screw-down crown ensure water resistance to 100m. The three-fold clasp features a push-button release and micro-adjustment function for a precise, personalised fit.
At the heart of the watch is the in-house crafted mechanical hi-beat calibre 9SA5, accurate to +8/-1 seconds per day with an impressive 80-hour power reserve.
Every Grand Seiko features signature high standards of precision, durability and legibility, handcrafted in Japan by Takumi artisans.
