Aside from looking good, the new Superocean is also a technical marvel. Broad hands and indexes coated in luminescent Super-LumiNova allow for superior readability underwater. At 300m water resistance, this watch triples the minimum requirement for dive watches. The bracelet has a folding clasp which allows for micro-adjustments of up to 15mm for easy wear over rashies and dive suits. Its scratch-proof ceramic-inlayed bezel means it will never wear or fade. For safety, the bezel is uni-directional. This watch is also shock-, sand- and saltwater-resistant. Its automatic Breilting Caliber 17 comes with a 2 year warranty and approximate 38-hour power reserve. As with all Breitling redesigns which pull from the archives, the new Superocean perfectly balances the nostalgia of its lineage with a fresh new look. There's something for everyone in this design.
