SHAKEN NOT STIRRED: THE JAMES BOND OMEGA WATCH



There aren’t many more iconic associations than the one between James Bond and his OMEGA watch. The Seamaster was the “weapon of choice” for Bond when the brand debuted in Goldeneye back in 1995. Breitling & The Stars



Breitling has always had close ties with some of Hollywood’s biggest stars. Trading off their motto of #SquadsOnAMission, they launched their “Cinema Squad” back in 2021. This newly-assembled squad would serve as ambassadors for their “Super Chronomat Collection” and were none other than Adam Driver, Charlize Theron and Brad Pitt. The trio are some of the most recognizable faces in the world and build on an affinity for film stars has also counted John Travolta as an ambassador in the past.

For the keen-eyed watch enthusiasts, you’ll also spot some classic Breitling watches in movies being worn by Jerry Seinfeld in his titular comedy series, an Avenger on the wrist of Leonardo Di Caprio in Blood Diamond and a Chronomat worn strangely backwards by Bruce Willis in Die Hard with a Vengeance. Tag Heuer and the Gray Man


Netflix have continued to bring A-List movie stars to their streaming platform and release more and more of their own Netflix Originals. One big release this year saw Ryan Gosling star in their action thriller The Gray Man. In case you haven’t realized this already, no action hero is complete without their watch! TAG Heuer partnered with Netflix to kit Gosling out with their Carrera Three Hands timepiece. The watch is dubbed as the only watch that could keep up with the action. TAG Heuer has always been a part of film history, featuring an array of watches in films. Their Iconic Tag Heuer Monaco was worn by Steve McQueen in Le Mans (1971) and the now discontinued “Link” model was a key part of Matt Damon’s look in the Bourne Trilogy in the early 2000s. HAMILTON WATCHES IN MOVIES: FIT FOR A KING



A well-known brand from the USA, it’s perhaps no surprise that Hamilton watches have appeared in over 500 movies. With Hamilton Khaki Field watches being issued to soldiers during WW2, you’re almost guaranteed to see them worn in movies like Pearl Harbour. Their other ranges like the Jazzmasterand Ventura have been born in Men in Black & by Elvis himself both on and off screen. IWC are the Top Gun



Very few films have had as much of a cultural impact as the IWC top gun watch,1986 classic Top Gun! With the recent return of Tom Cruise as Maverick, we’ve been re-introduced to the fabled fighter pilot students of the US Air Force. In reality, each student of this school is given an IWC special edition Top Gun Pilot Watch for their trials and test runs. This has helped to cement IWC's legacy as the choice of Pilots for their incredible complications and durability.

Although the exact models of Top Gun watches worn by the trainees at the US Navy Fighter Weapons School (Top Gun) are not available to the public, there have been many references launched in the past decade that celebrate the collaboration. THE SEIKO “ARNIE” WATCH



Arnold Schwarzenegger was and remains a movie icon. Movies like The Terminator made him a household name in the 1980s. A watch as big and durable as the former Mr. Olympia was needed during his roles in both Commando and Predator. The SEIKO Prospex H558-5009 was up to the task and was sat comfortably between Schwarzenegger and his trigger finger during these missions.
