This limited edition Prospex ‘Marinemaster’, created in collaboration with JAMSTEC, is inspired by Japan’s pioneering polar research vessel Mirai II and celebrates exploration at the most extreme frontiers of the ocean.
The blue gradient dial reflects the ship’s trail through the ice, with layers of transparent paint polished to create a deep, lustrous effect. Beneath dual-curved sapphire crystal, the satin-textured surface is designed to reduce light reflection underwater, while the streamlined case, LumiBrite visibility and ceramic bezel ensure performance to ISO diving standards.
Powered by the in-house crafted calibre 8L45 from the Shizukuishi Watch Studio in Iwate, Japan, the watch delivers +10/-5 seconds per day accuracy, a 72-hour power reserve and 300m water resistance.
