In celebration of the Meisterstück centenary in 2024, Montblanc pays tribute to its iconic writing instrument with a collection inspired by the Olympic Games Chamonix 1924. That year marks both the launch of Montblanc’s Meisterstück and the first Winter Olympic Games held in Chamonix, at the foot of Mont Blanc. Both Montblanc and the 1924 Olympics represent the pursuit of excellence by master craftsmen and sporting heroes. The Classique edition, crafted in precious blue-grey resin to reflect the official Winter Games color, features a handcrafted solid Au585/14k gold nib adorned with a ski jumper, inspired by a vintage Olympic poster. The cap top ring is engraved with the Olympic Rings and an encircling wreath of leaves, echoing ancient Olympic victor accolades. The cap itself bears the words “Olympic Games Chamonix 1924” within a frame inspired by the official Games report cover. The anniversary cap ring displays both “1924” and “2024,” highlighting the significance of both years. The edition is crowned with the Montblanc emblem embedded in precious coral-colored resin, Montblanc's signature color.
