Receptionist & Retail Administrative Assistant

Borehamwood

We have an exciting opportunity to assist in the management of the Borehamwood Reception area and provide secretarial and administrative support to the CEO, Retail Director and the Borehamwood to ensure that all aspects and process are running smoothly and efficiently.

Accountabilities

                  1. RECEPTION
                  2. Meet & greet visitors
                  3. Assist with management of main switchboard
                  4. Undertake general administration duties, including filing, photocopying, faxing, emails and screening calls
                  5. Liaise with other team members and suppliers to solve problems or queries
                  6. Assist and aid Buyer/s in preparation for meetings where necessary
                  7. Manage all post – in and out
                  8. Organise lunches for general meetings as required
                  9. Book flights, hotels and car parking, and foreign currency as appropriate
                  10. Other ad-hoc duties as required
                  11. Stationery management and ordering, daily checks of office printers/replenishment of paper etc.

Skills and experience

                  1. Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
                  2. Reception/phone system knowledge
                  3. Customer Service care skills
                  4. Intermediate computer knowledge in word, excel and outlook
                  5. Ability to work as a part of a team and on own initiative
                  6. Ability to self-manage and work to set timescales
                  7. High level & understanding of confidentiality essential (a confidentiality agreement will require signing)

We are a new and exciting opportunity within our retail management structure. This is a fantastic opportunity to become a member of the Fraser Hart management team of the future. It is a permanent role which will allow the successful candidate to work across several of our stores within the locations mentioned with the aim of learning and understanding our culture, policies, procedures and most importantly our products and customers. We are looking for someone who is passionate about customer service and who thrives on a new challenge. It is absolutely essential that you are willing to travel. The successful candidate will have at least 2 years retail experience in a customer service facing environment with a proven track record of managing performance in driving sales while maintaining operational standards to the highest levels.
