STOCK ADMINISTRATOR

Glasgow

This is a fantastic opportunity for Stock Keeper Coordinator to join a fast-paced business environment within a retail organisation. Reporting to Goods In Manager of Anthony Nicholas Group, to facilitate the Goods Inwards Department.Coordinating stock deliveries into and out of the Glasgow Stock Department, and for handling them in an accurate and timely manner.

Accountabilities

                • Accepting and dealing with goods inwards
                • Processing and invoicing of goods from suppliers, including the preparation of stock for transfer to other departments and stores
                • Quality control of goods received
                • Liaising with suppliers and buyers on any issues relating to new stock
                • Working with the Assay office to arrange hallmarking
                • All administration involved with managing warehouse stock
                • Ensuring computerised stock control system is updated on a daily basis
                • Other duties as required by management

Skills & Experience Required

                  1. Be flexible in their approach to their work
                  2. Previous experience of working with goods inwards in a retail environment
                  3. Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
                  4. Training in manual handling
                  5. Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
                  6. Ability to work on own initiative
                  7. Team player
                  8. Competent IT skills
                  9. Ability to work on own initiative
