The suitable candidate will assist the store management team in motivating and inspiring the store team to deliver transformational service while maximising retail sales and profit. GOODS INWARDS MANAGER

Glasgow

To provide overall direction to the Goods Inwards Department employees to ensure 100% customer satisfaction. You’re accountable for all stock movements and deliveries into and out of the Glasgow Stock Department, and for handling them in an accurate and timely manner.

Accountabilities

                1. Receive stock directly from suppliers or via the assay office quickly and efficiently.
                2. Ensure correct procedures are followed for checking in stock, ensuring quantities and prices are accurate and to re-ticket with Fraser Hart stock codes.
                3. Liaise with all relevant parties including suppliers, buyers and assay office to resolve any issues regarding stock.
                4. Identify priority orders when goods arrive from suppliers and ensure that these items are dispatched straight to stores via the post room.
                5. Transfer the stock to the stores / warehouse in a timely manner.
                6. Maintain the Goods Inwards area in an orderly, disciplined and efficient manner and ensure that it is kept neat and tidy at all times.
                7. Prepare the Goods Inward area for stocktaking and to assist in the stocktake and ensure information recorded is legible and accurate.
                8. To be aware and observe all Fraser Hart policies and procedures.
                9. To follow the correct procedures for documentation of all types of sales, store paperwork, special orders, dispatch and customer correspondence.
                10. Manage special order requests from foreign suppliers including making the enquiry with the supplier, converting to retail price, liaising with the store, confirming the order and transferring to the store.
                11. Ensure all watch repairs are recorded appropriately onto the relevant system before forwarding to suppliers. Liaise with the stores throughout the process.
                12. Motivate and inspires the team to deliver exceptional customer service through leading by example.
                13. Create a culture of continuous learning by coaching and development of team members through strong leadership by driving delivery of retail objectives..

Skills & Experience Required

                  1. Previous experience in a management.
                  2. Full knowledge and understanding of all aspects of how a Goods Inwards department works.

FACILITIES CO-ORDINATOR

London

Manage the services and processes that support the core business of Fraser Hart ensuring we have the most suitable working environment for its employees and their activities. Focus on using best business practice to improve efficiency, by reducing operating costs while increasing productivity. Support the Retail Director in both strategic planning and day-to-day operations.

Accountabilities

                1. Ensure that all premises meet legislation & health and safety requirements and that all works are carried out in accordance with legislation.
                2. Manage and coordinate projects in relation to the work of contractors for maintenance works, planned and reactive.
                3. Manage the outsourced provider of Maintenance Services.
                4. Provide Management reports on maintenance spends and KPI’s.
                5. Align internal and external communication activities
                6. Check that agreed work by contractors has been completed satisfactorily and follow-up on any deficiencies.
                7. Visit all store & head office locations to ensure the buildings are being properly maintained.
                8. Accompany our Landlord’s Building Surveyors on property inspections and agree any scopes of works.
                9. Influence and persuade business stakeholders on best practice for communications
                10. Direct and plan essential central services such as security, maintenance, waste disposal and recycling.
                11. Calculate and compare costs for required goods or services to achieve maximum value for money (Preparing documents to put out tenders for contracts & contractors).
                12. Prioritise multiple tasks on a day to day basis and complete all administrative tasks.
                13. Use performance management techniques to monitor and demonstrate achievement of agreed SLAs and to lead on improvement.
                14. Manage and ensure there is minimum disruption to the stores core activities.
                15. Liaise with tenants of adjoining commercial properties where issues arise that affect our estate.
                16. Respond appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues, as they arise.

Skills & Experience Required

                  1. Commercial awareness with strong communication and negotiation skills.
                  2. Good knowledge and understanding of legislation relevant to facilities including environmental and health & safety law etc..
                  3. Excellent administration and I.T. skills (Inc. Microsoft excel and Word).
                  4. Analytical approach to problem solving & planning.

Communications Manager

London

You will be designing and implementing all internal communications activities across the Anthony Nicholas Group. You will take responsibility for the intranet site management, production of regular newsletters and employee communications, draft copy aligned to brand values, drive internal information flow and deliver new communication methods for maximising employee engagement and supporting business growth.

Accountabilities

                1. Develop an understanding of the communications requirements within the Anthony Nicholas Group
                2. Implement corporate internal communication processes, delivering timely and effective communications throughout the business
                3. Use appropriate communication channels and processes to ensure that all employees feel informed, valued and motivated
                4. Establish networks and build contacts throughout the business
                5. Align internal and external communication activities
                6. Lead the ongoing review and development of communications within the business
                7. Take information and create engaging copy which is relevant to the audience
                8. Produce high quality employee communications materials which are suitable for many different channels (intranet, newsletter, face to face)
                9. Influence and persuade business stakeholders on best practice for communications
                10. Management of the Intranet ensuring all content is up to date and relevant
                11. Production of the weekly Fraser Hart Retail Operations Newsletter
                12. Lead the research, planning and implementation of the longer-term development of communications channels
                13. Lead work on the ongoing development of the design, content and production of Fraser Hart’s internal magazine
                14. Provide the tools and frameworks to empower managers to communicate effectively with their employees locally
                15. Work with Human Resources to plan and execute staff surveys, analyse results and create appropriate action plans
                16. Ensure that social media opportunities are being maximised by the business
                17. Owning, developing & managing calendars of key messages to ensure consistent, relevant and timely delivery of internal communication material and to avoid message conflicts

Skills & Experience Required

                  1. Minimum five years’ experience of working in a communications role, ideally at a senior strategic level
                  2. Retail and multi-site experience is highly desirable
                  3. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
                  4. Ability to communicate effectively at all employee levels
                  5. Ability to multi-task and to work to tight deadlines, budgets and targets with accuracy
                  6. Ability to successfully manage and implement key projects from start to finish
                  7. Problem solving and analytical capability, with the ability to interpret data and analyse findings
