Social Media Coordinator

London

The Social Media Coordinator is responsible for managing the Company’s social media and online interactions with customers through social media.

Accountabilities

                1. Engaging with customers through the use of social media
                2. Ensuring all activity aligns with the Company’s brand
                3. Ensuring that approaches to social media are relevant and appropriate for each medium
                4. Monitoring competitors social media activity
                5. Being the voice of those public sites, actively engaging followers in a dialogue in an effort to transform visitors into advocates for the brand
                6. Keeping up to date with advances in social media technology and the latest social media platforms
                7. Being responsible for writing for multiple platforms that include blogs, marketing material, press releases, articles and interviews, as well as composing Twitter posts and Facebook updates
                8. Overseeing posts by designated store staff that have access to Fraser Hart’s social media sites
                9. Increasing the fan base on sites such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram by outlining a campaign calendar and conceptualising tactics to increase audience participation
                10. Collaborating with all departments within the business and various jewellery and watch brands to create relevant content and interactive media experiences through social sites
                11. Building reporting frameworks to evaluate return on investment on the various platforms
                12. Monitoring social media for customer comments both positive and negative
                13. Engaging with customers to resolve customer service issues, or often, redirecting issues to someone who can provide an answer
                14. Creating positive PR opportunities
                15. Working with the marketing and Ecommerce team to look at ways social media can work within wider campaigns
                16. Writing creative briefs for design agencies
                17. Creating assets to use on all sites including photographs, images and videos

Skills & Experience Required

                  1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
                  2. Technical knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, metrics and tracking
                  3. Project management and excellent organisational skills
                  4. Experience within the jewellery and watch industry is desirable however not essential
                  5. Understanding of current fashion trends within the retail sector
                  6. Quick learner and the ability to change in a fast paced environment
                  7. Ability to handle the pressure of meeting tight deadlines
                  8. Proven experience using Photoshop
                  9. Proven photography experience
                  10. Recognised degree in marketing, technology or journalism
                  11. Minimum of one years experience as a copywriter or in a social media role

As part of the role the successful candidate will also be responsible for assisting the Marketing Assistant with the day to day duties of the department

The role will be primarily based at our head office in Borehamwood however the suitable candidate must have the availability to travel

Communications Manager

London

You will be designing and implementing all internal communications activities across the Anthony Nicholas Group. You will take responsibility for the intranet site management, production of regular newsletters and employee communications, draft copy aligned to brand values, drive internal information flow and deliver new communication methods for maximising employee engagement and supporting business growth.

Accountabilities

                1. Develop an understanding of the communications requirements within the Anthony Nicholas Group
                2. Implement corporate internal communication processes, delivering timely and effective communications throughout the business
                3. Use appropriate communication channels and processes to ensure that all employees feel informed, valued and motivated
                4. Establish networks and build contacts throughout the business
                5. Align internal and external communication activities
                6. Lead the ongoing review and development of communications within the business
                7. Take information and create engaging copy which is relevant to the audience
                8. Produce high quality employee communications materials which are suitable for many different channels (intranet, newsletter, face to face)
                9. Influence and persuade business stakeholders on best practice for communications
                10. Management of the Intranet ensuring all content is up to date and relevant
                11. Production of the weekly Fraser Hart Retail Operations Newsletter
                12. Lead the research, planning and implementation of the longer-term development of communications channels
                13. Lead work on the ongoing development of the design, content and production of Fraser Hart’s internal magazine
                14. Provide the tools and frameworks to empower managers to communicate effectively with their employees locally
                15. Work with Human Resources to plan and execute staff surveys, analyse results and create appropriate action plans
                16. Ensure that social media opportunities are being maximised by the business
                17. Owning, developing & managing calendars of key messages to ensure consistent, relevant and timely delivery of internal communication material and to avoid message conflicts

Skills & Experience Required

                  1. Minimum five years’ experience of working in a communications role, ideally at a senior strategic level
                  2. Retail and multi-site experience is highly desirable
                  3. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
                  4. Ability to communicate effectively at all employee levels
                  5. Ability to multi-task and to work to tight deadlines, budgets and targets with accuracy
                  6. Ability to successfully manage and implement key projects from start to finish
                  7. Problem solving and analytical capability, with the ability to interpret data and analyse findings
                  8. Confident decision maker who is able to work independently
                  9. Proven ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and make best use of limited resources
                  10. Able to network effectively and build constructive working relationships
                  11. Good presentation, copywriting and proof reading skills
                  12. Good understanding and hands on experience of Content Management Systems and their capabilities, in particular SharePoint
                  13. Strong knowledge of online, best practice, emerging technologies, social networking, blogs and multimedia and the ability to channel this knowledge into strategic advice
                  14. Commercial awareness with a focus on driving business benefit
                  15. Proven track record of developing, supporting and evaluating communications strategies
