I was unable to make it to the store last week, but the staff reserved the ring in for me especially and the entire staff in the store were kept in the loop, which made my visit to Fraser Hart very fast and efficient. I would also like to thank the friendly lady who served me on Saturday the 11th of February as she was excellent and gave excellent customer service. If you have never bought anything from Fraser Hart then I would suggest you do, they have an excellent range of products and excellent service to match. I was winding it yesterday, and it appears that the left keyhole (for winding the strike) will not wind properly. It sounds to my untrained ear as if the spring has become detached from the drum. Is it possible that it can be repaired, and if so at what cost (roughly)?. We live in France, but will be visiting Swansea in May and could bring the clock into your shop there. I realise it may take more than a week to repair (we are only here for a week) and the next time we visit will be September. If necessary, I will ask our son if he can pick it up for us. I went into the store just before Christmas right before the store was closing and I was greeting with a warm welcome, most shops tend to want to get rid of you before closing but the staff at your York branch took their time to help me find what I wanted for my girlfriend. I have also been in contact recently with Diane Nightingale who I would like to give special thanks to, she has been nothing but freindly and proffesional and has took time out of her day to help me with queries I had regarding my girlfriends engagement ring. I would like to say thank you to you Diane and I shall keep you posted on how the proposal goes.
